For your information:

There was another Holy Cross Cemetery located at North Avenue and Wolfe Street. It was established in 1863 and closed in 1969.

Holy Cross Cemetery was used by St. Patrick (1791-), St. Ignatius (1856-), and St. John the Evangelist (1853-1966) parishes. The majority of the over 13,000 burials took place between 1867 and 1903. The property was sold to the City of Baltimore in 1969. The bodies were transferred to Woodlawn Cemetery, where they were placed in one large plot designated as the “Holy Cross Section.” There are no individual graves. The “Holy Cross Section” is located off the Liberty Heights entrance to Woodlawn and has a marker.

Sunpaper Article announcing the closing. We could not find a listing in the papers as to those bodies being moved. If you have additional information and would be willing to share, please contact us at GermanMarylanders@gmail.com
